Associate Principal Scientist, Veterinary Drug Safety & Metabolism (Animal Health)

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Associate Principal Scientist with a strong clinical background in Veterinary Drug Safety & Metabolism to join our Animal Health team at Merck & Co. In this role you will have the opportunity to have a direct impact on the development and commercialization of new products and services, while supporting existing products and services.The successful candidate will have a strong aptitude for problem solving and a passion for Animal Health and Veterinary Drug Safety & Metabolism, as well as the following qualifications:• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Physiology and Pharmacology, Toxicology, or a related field• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in preclinical drug safety, metabolism and pharmacokinetics in an animal health setting• Knowledge and experience of regulatory requirements for preclinical studies• Ability to think strategically, anticipate trends and plan for long-term success• Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsIf you are an experienced professional with a passion for Animal Health and Veterinary Drug Safety & Metabolism, we want to hear from you!
