Job Description

Leads value stream team and coordinates functional resources (Planning, CSM, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, etc.) to ensure quality and daily delivery. Utilize, drive, and promote understanding of Lean tools and principles to ensure the delivery of business objectives and a culture of continuous improvement. Develop and implement kaizen plans, daily management, lean conversion, and countermeasures. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedure. Take active role in safety awareness and accident prevention. Ensure proper staffing levels, quality and quantity, to meet customer requirements and achieve productivity targets. Develop the operations team by providing training, coaching, and counseling as appropriate. Ensures compliance with general safety, relevant legislation, regulations (Part 145) and company requirements.

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience

  • Minimum 2-year proven shop floor operations leadership / supervisory experience in a multi-functional manufacturing environment

  • Proven ability to develop and enhance a suboptimal organization including the formal development of direct reports

  • Ability to positively motivate teams around stretch goal success
