Job Description

Manages source change & sourcing activity from idea generation through to FAI approval & production handover adhering to agreed processes and resolving issues that arise in an effective and timely manner. Carries out supplier research, evaluation & selection and to continually strengthen our supply base and ensure we are matching opportunities with appropriate suppliers. Develops and negotiates contracts as required and manages enforcement of contractual obligations with suppliers within allocated commodities. Works within the regional team to deliver against agreed KPIs supporting our wider procurement strategy. Operates effectively in a matrix organisation, ensuring alignment across sites, divisions & other commodity teams working collaboratively to deliver against wider business objectives.
Supports resolution of cost, quality and delivery issues within the site & regional team as requested.

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic procurement role

  • Demonstrated capability/experience in a senior strategic procurement role

  • Experience with first article purchase order and work transfer processes

  • Ability to mentor members of strategic team across division/group and commodities
