Manager, Procurement

The Manager of Procurement is responsible for managing and overseeing procurement resources who manage complex purchasing activity for assigned goods and services. This position ensures objectives relating to quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness are satisfied fully meeting department goals and supporting site operations. Monitor procurement procedures to comply with governmental and policy regulations. Develop and maintain sound relationship with the supplier base to provide the necessary support of divisional product requirements. Manage supplier cost, quality, and delivery driving resolution within the site team and, where necessary, escalating for additional support; implement actions to resolve supplier non-conformance issues. Drive annual cost down and minimize supplier cost increases for assigned commodities or those led by their direct reports in support of site Purchase Cost Variance (PCV) goals. Support sourcing of new products and new product introduction activities in line with Meggitt policies, processes, and strategy as assigned.
