Business Systems Specialist

This position is responsible for the second stage in the revenue generation billing cycle. This position is responsible for accurate and timely electronic and paper claims generation and filing for all clients to all third party payers. Responsible for overall integrity of the system. Recommends and implements changes for performance and process improvement. Coordinates all system and application related upgrades, changes and enhancements to ensure optimal performance of the billing system. Takes appropriate steps to ensure timely and accurate daily electronic billing. Assists in monitoring implementation of revised processes, forms, etc., to ensure correct and timely daily billing for all charge and payment activity. Coordinates and ensures current, up-to-date systems and training manuals and materials are generated and available; Performs systems, process and internal processing audits as needed. Responds to requests for reports and/or assistance in a timely manner and is sought after as a key resource. Prepares routine management reports, quality reports and special reports as specified and/or related to claims processing, filing and payment as needed.
