Staff Accountant

To compile, examine and prepare financial statements and reports to ensure accurate reporting of the company’s financial position. Responsibilities to include determining causes for monthly variances in financial statements. Analyze General Ledger accounts and reconcile inconsistencies on a monthly and quarterly basis. Research financial data to assist in developing budget assumptions, reports and projects. Communicate and coordinate interaction with other departments to ensure financial compliance within a corporate setting. SOX compliancy. Ability to assist with special projects as assigned or directed. Related additional responsibilities as assigned by immediate Supervisor. Understanding expense and revenue issues to ensure resolutions. Expected to assist with all month end analysis for review by Controller before financial sign off.
