- Vast Construction business knowledge required.
- Solid understanding of the method used on a project, bore, plow, trench.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the various types of bore.
- Strong familiarity with the pricing on various types of methods used on the project.
- Ability to recognize the type of fiber splicing (ribbon) and to recognize single/double lash.
- Ability to open and close enclosures.
- Ability to recognize proper seal on enclosure.
- Strong knowledge of fiber optic rings (SM, MM).
- Knowledge of guidelines on drop buries.
- Knowledge of when and where the conduit is expected.
- Accountable for footage invoiced for each method used for the project.
Minimum of 8 years in general cable construction required
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fiber installation and fiber testing (OTDR)
Certified in splicing, activation and installation required
