- Receive and process incoming shipments of medical supplies and equipment.
- Accurately and efficiently pick, pack, and ship customer orders.
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper storage and organization of products.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Utilize computer systems to track inventory and update order status.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy of orders and prevent errors.
- Communicate with other departments and vendors to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and audits.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Identify areas for process improvement and make suggestions to enhance efficiency.
- Train and mentor new warehouse employees as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Prior Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Warehouse Or Distribution Center Is Preferred. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Warehouse Operations And Processes.
Physical Fitness: The Job Of A Warehouse Worker Involves Long Hours Of Standing, Lifting, And Moving Heavy Boxes And Packages. Therefore, Physical Fitness And Stamina Are Important Qualifications For This Role.
Forklift Certification: Many Warehouses Use Forklifts To Move Inventory And Materials, So Having A Valid Forklift Certification Is Often Required. Candidates With Prior Forklift Experience And Certification Will Have An Added Advantage.
Attention To Detail: Warehouse Workers Are Responsible For Maintaining Accurate Inventory Records And Ensuring That The Right Products Are Shipped Out. Therefore, Having Good Attention To Detail Is A Crucial Qualification For This Job.
