  1. Oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Payable team and ensure all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  2. Manage and motivate team members to maintain a high level of performance and productivity.
  3. Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Accounts Payable department.
  4. Monitor and review team performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed to ensure individual and team goals are met.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to Accounts Payable.
  6. Maintain a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures related to Accounts Payable and ensure team compliance.
  7. Approve and process high-value or complex payments, as needed.
  8. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  9. Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment inquiries or issues.
  10. Prepare and analyze reports on team performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  11. Train new team members on department procedures and systems.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to Accounts Payable.
  13. Act as a point of contact for escalations from team members, vendors, and other departments.
  14. Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for achieving departmental goals.
  15. Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and documented in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Accounts Payable, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Or Team Lead Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Accounting Principles And Practices, Including Gaap.

  • Proficiency In Relevant Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle, And A High Level Of Proficiency In Microsoft Excel.
