- Oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Payable team and ensure all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage and motivate team members to maintain a high level of performance and productivity.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Accounts Payable department.
- Monitor and review team performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed to ensure individual and team goals are met.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to Accounts Payable.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures related to Accounts Payable and ensure team compliance.
- Approve and process high-value or complex payments, as needed.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment inquiries or issues.
- Prepare and analyze reports on team performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Train new team members on department procedures and systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to Accounts Payable.
- Act as a point of contact for escalations from team members, vendors, and other departments.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for achieving departmental goals.
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and documented in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Accounts Payable, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Or Team Lead Role.
Strong Knowledge Of Accounting Principles And Practices, Including Gaap.
Proficiency In Relevant Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle, And A High Level Of Proficiency In Microsoft Excel.
