  1. Provide legal support and guidance to the government contracting division of McKesson Corporation.
  2. Ensure compliance with all government regulations and requirements related to healthcare contracts.
  3. Advise on legal implications and risks associated with government contracts.
  4. Review and negotiate government contracts and related agreements.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and government agencies.
  6. Stay updated on changes in government regulations and industry trends related to healthcare contracting.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues and provide strategic solutions.
  8. Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making and provide guidance to the business.
  9. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations.
  10. Represent the company in contract negotiations and dispute resolution with government entities.
  11. Train and educate team members on legal requirements and best practices in government contracting.
  12. Act as a trusted advisor and provide proactive legal support to the government contracting division.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all legal matters.
  14. Assist with other legal matters and projects as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Government Contracting Laws And Regulations, Including The Federal Acquisition Regulation (Far) And Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (Dfars).

  • Strong Understanding Of Government Contract Types, Such As Fixed-Price, Cost-Reimbursement, And Time And Materials.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Negotiating And Managing Complex Government Contracts, Including Subcontracts And Teaming Agreements.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Government Officials And Internal Stakeholders At All Levels.

  • Bachelor's Or Advanced Degree In Business, Law, Or A Related Field, And A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Government Contracting, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.
