We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Category Manager to join our team and take on the critical role of overseeing our Professional Services category.   1. Develop and execute strategic plans for the Professional Services category, in alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
  2. Conduct market analysis and stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices to identify potential growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and drive efficient and effective category management processes.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including suppliers and service providers, to drive value and negotiate favorable contracts.
  5. Lead negotiations and contract management for the Professional Services category, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  6. Monitor and manage category performance, including cost savings, quality, and service levels, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  7. Develop and manage category budgets, forecasts, and other financial metrics to track and report on category performance and support decision making.
  8. Mentor and coach junior category managers to develop their skills and knowledge, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
  9. Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements and ensure the Professional Services category is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  10. Drive innovation and process improvements within the Professional Services category to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
  11. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop and implement strategies to optimize category performance.
  12. Represent the company and the Professional Services category at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to stay informed and network with key stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Strategic Sourcing And Category Management Within The Professional Services Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Procurement Best Practices And Proven Track Record Of Driving Cost Savings And Value Creation.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field. Mba Preferred.

  • Excellent Negotiation And Contract Management Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers And Internal Stakeholders.

  • Proven Leadership Experience, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Develop A Team Of Procurement Professionals.
