Senior UX Designer

- Develop and implement innovative and user-friendly designs for products and services of McKesson Corporation.
- Conduct research and gather user insights to inform design decisions and improve the overall user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to effectively communicate design ideas and gather feedback from stakeholders.
- Ensure consistency and cohesiveness in the design across different products and platforms.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends and techniques to continuously improve the user experience.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement in the design.
- Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs and provide support during the development process.
- Act as an advocate for user-centered design principles and promote a user-centric design approach within the company.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the design team, providing support and guidance in their professional development.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and alignment in all design elements.
- Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Communicate design concepts and ideas clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Take ownership of the user experience and strive for continuous improvement and innovation in design.
Extensive Experience In User Experience Design: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In User Experience Design, With A Strong Portfolio Showcasing Their Design Process And Successful Projects.
Strong Understanding Of User-Centered Design Principles: The Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of User-Centered Design Principles And Methodologies, And Be Able To Apply Them To Create Intuitive And User-Friendly Designs.
Proficiency In Design Tools And Software: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Industry-Standard Design Tools Such As Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, And Invision. Knowledge Of Prototyping Tools And Ux Research Software Is Also Desirable.
Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team: As A Senior Ux Designer, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Designers. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Collaborate And Communicate Effectively Are Essential.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry And User Needs: Mckesson Corporation Is A Healthcare Company, So The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry And The Needs Of Users In This Sector. Experience Designing For Healthcare Products Or Services Is A Plus.
