  1. Ensure Compliance with Tax Laws and Regulations: The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for staying up-to-date with all federal, state, and international income tax laws and regulations and ensuring that McKesson Corporation is in compliance with them.
  2. Tax Accounting: The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for maintaining accurate tax records and preparing tax returns for the company. This includes analyzing financial data, identifying potential tax issues, and proposing solutions to minimize tax liability.
  3. Monitor Tax Processes: The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for monitoring the company's tax processes and identifying areas for improvement. This may include implementing new tax strategies or streamlining existing processes to increase efficiency.
  4. Provide Tax Guidance: The Senior Tax Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters. This may include advising on tax implications for business decisions and providing recommendations to mitigate tax risks.
  5. Research Complex Tax Issues: The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for researching and analyzing complex tax issues and providing recommendations to ensure compliance.

  8. Conduct Audits: The Senior Tax Analyst will assist with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, providing necessary documentation and supporting schedules.
  9. Stay Informed of Industry Trends: The Senior Tax Analyst will stay informed of industry trends and changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure the company's tax compliance strategies are current and effective.
  10. Mentor Junior Team Members: As a senior member of the tax team, the Senior Tax Analyst will provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, helping to develop their skills and knowledge in tax compliance.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Income Tax Compliance, Preferably In A Large Corporate Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Tax Laws And Regulations, Specifically Related To Federal And State Income Taxes.

  • Experience With Tax Software Such As Onesource, Corptax, Or Similar Programs.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.
