  1. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential insider threats within the organization.
  2. Monitor and analyze internal data to identify suspicious activities or behaviors.
  3. Utilize threat intelligence sources and tools to stay current on emerging insider threats and trends.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and human resources, to investigate and respond to insider threats.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to prevent, detect, and mitigate insider risks.
  6. Create and maintain insider threat policies, procedures, and controls.
  7. Conduct training and awareness programs for employees on insider threat awareness and best practices.
  8. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with insider threat prevention measures.
  9. Provide recommendations for improving security controls and procedures to mitigate insider risks.
  10. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations related to insider threat management.
  11. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on insider threat trends and incidents.
  12. Serve as a subject matter expert on insider threat management, providing guidance and support to other team members.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  14. Act as a liaison with external partners and law enforcement agencies as needed.
  15. Continuously assess and improve the insider threat program to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with business goals.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Insider Threat Detection And Mitigation: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Identifying And Mitigating Insider Threats In A Global Corporate Setting. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of Threat Vectors And Tactics Used By Insiders, As Well As Experience In Implementing Effective Monitoring And Response Strategies.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Enterprise Security: The Senior Global Insider Threat Analyst Should Possess A Comprehensive Understanding Of Enterprise Security, Including Network Security, Endpoint Security, Data Protection, And Access Control. This Knowledge Is Essential For Developing And Implementing Effective Insider Threat Detection And Response Strategies.

  • Expertise In Data Analysis And Forensics: The Candidate Must Have Advanced Skills In Data Analysis And Forensic Techniques To Identify Suspicious Activities And Potential Insider Threats. This Includes Proficiency In Tools Like Siem, Data Loss Prevention, And User Behavior Analytics.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Role Of A Senior Global Insider Threat Analyst Involves Collaborating With Multiple Teams And Stakeholders, Including Cybersecurity, Legal, Hr, And Business Units. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate Threat Findings And Recommendations To These Teams.

  • Industry Certifications: A Senior Global Insider Threat Analyst Should Hold Relevant Industry Certifications Such As Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp), Certified Information Security Manager (Cism), Or Certified Ethical Hacker (Ceh). These Certifications Demonstrate A Strong Understanding Of Information Security Principles And Best Practices.
