- Manage the procurement of essential supplies and materials to support the operations of McKesson Corporation.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Research and identify potential vendors and negotiate pricing and terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of products.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing strategies based on demand and usage trends.
- Utilize inventory management software to track and analyze inventory levels, purchase orders, and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, sales, and finance to ensure alignment of inventory needs and budget goals.
- Monitor market trends and maintain knowledge of industry best practices to improve purchasing processes and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and purchase orders to identify and address any discrepancies or issues.
- Develop and maintain reports on purchasing and inventory metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously look for ways to improve processes and increase efficiency in the procurement and inventory management functions.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of supplies and materials.
- Participate in supplier performance evaluation and provide feedback to support vendor management and sourcing decisions.
- Act as a brand ambassador for McKesson Corporation by promoting the company's mission and values and maintaining a positive and professional image in all interactions.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Purchasing Or Supply Chain Management, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management Principles And Experience With Forecasting And Replenishment Processes.
Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Inventory Management Software.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Vendors And Internal Stakeholders.
