- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Rare Disease Operations team, including setting goals and objectives, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of rare disease operations, with a focus on delivering high-quality care to patients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement processes and procedures to support the delivery of specialized care for patients with rare diseases.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to rare disease operations, including maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimize operations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Rare Disease Operations team, including training, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Rare Disease Operations team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, and patient advocacy groups.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments related to rare diseases and incorporate best practices into Rare Disease Operations.
- Act as a liaison between the Rare Disease Operations team and other departments within McKesson to ensure alignment and collaboration on initiatives and projects.
- Identify and manage risks and issues related to rare disease operations, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Represent McKesson at conferences, seminars, and other industry events to promote the company's rare disease operations and build relationships with key stakeholders.

Advanced Degree In Healthcare Management Or Related Field: A Manager, Rare Disease Operations At Mckesson Corporation Should Possess A Relevant Advanced Degree, Such As A Master's In Healthcare Administration, To Demonstrate A Strong Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry And Its Complexities.
