  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for clinical research operations, in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  2. Oversee the planning, initiation, and execution of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to protocols, regulations, and timelines.
  3. Manage a team of clinical research professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical affairs, regulatory, and data management, to ensure smooth and efficient execution of clinical trials.
  5. Monitor and track trial progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and guidelines, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) standards.
  7. Develop and manage budgets for clinical research projects, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  8. Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates on trial progress, results, and any issues that may impact the study.
  9. Review and approve study-related documents, such as protocols, informed consent forms, and study reports.
  10. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in clinical research, and make recommendations for process improvements and best practices.
  11. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the clinical research team.
  12. Represent the company at scientific conferences and meetings, presenting on clinical research activities and results.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and confidentiality.
  14. Ensure the ethical conduct of clinical trials and protect the rights and welfare of study participants.
  15. Prepare and submit required documentation to regulatory authorities, as needed.
  16. Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support for career growth and development.
  17. Participate in the recruitment and selection of new team members, as needed.
  18. Assist with the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for clinical research operations.
