  1. Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) program at McKesson Corporation.
  2. Ensure that McKesson remains compliant with all relevant regulations and laws related to SOX.
  3. Develop and maintain a strong compliance culture within the organization.
  4. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential compliance issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  5. Collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure that all processes, procedures, and controls are in line with SOX requirements.
  6. Review and evaluate internal controls to ensure they are effective in mitigating risks and meeting compliance standards.
  7. Monitor and report on the status of SOX compliance efforts to senior management and other stakeholders.
  8. Implement and maintain a system for tracking and reporting on SOX-related issues and remediation efforts.
  9. Provide guidance and training to employees on SOX requirements and best practices for maintaining compliance.
  10. Stay up-to-date on changes and updates to SOX regulations and communicate any relevant changes to the organization.
  11. Coordinate with external auditors and other third-party partners to ensure an efficient and effective SOX audit process.
  12. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve overall compliance and risk management.
  13. Serve as a subject matter expert on SOX and provide guidance and support to other team members and departments as needed.
  14. Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness of the SOX program and make recommendations for enhancements or changes as needed.
  15. Uphold McKesson's values and code of conduct, promoting integrity and ethical business practices throughout the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Compliance Role, Preferably In A Large Corporation Or Public Accounting Firm.

  • Strong Understanding Of Sarbanes-Oxley Act (Sox) Regulations And Experience With Compliance Requirements.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify Potential Risks And Develop Effective Solutions.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Complex Information To Senior Management.
