  1. Lead and oversee all aspects of threat detection for McKesson Corporation.
  2. Utilize expertise in cyber security to develop and implement effective threat detection strategies.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest threat detection technologies and make recommendations for their implementation.
  4. Conduct thorough threat assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities within the organization's systems and networks.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement incident response plans in the event of a cyber attack.
  6. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to team members on threat detection best practices.
  7. Monitor and analyze system logs and network traffic for potential threats and take necessary actions to mitigate them.
  8. Continuously assess and improve the organization's threat detection capabilities.
  9. Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
  10. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging cyber threats to proactively identify potential risks for the organization.
  11. Conduct regular training and awareness sessions for employees to promote a culture of cyber security.
  12. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all threat detection processes and procedures.
  13. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure the organization's threat detection capabilities are up-to-date and effective.
  14. Participate in incident response exercises and simulations to test the organization's readiness for potential cyber attacks.
  15. Adhere to all security and privacy policies and regulations to protect the organization's sensitive information.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Threat Detection And Incident Response Within A Large-Scale Enterprise Environment.

  • Proficient In Utilizing Various Threat Detection Tools Such As Siem, Ids/Ips, And Vulnerability Scanners.

  • Strong Understanding Of Network And System Security Principles, Including Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, And Encryption Technologies.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Respond To Potential Threats In A Timely Manner.
