If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Weekend Group Therapist at Massachusetts General Hospital.As a Weekend Group Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population and provide therapeutic support through group therapy sessions. You will play an integral role in our patients' healing journeys by fostering a safe and supportive environment for them to explore their emotions and develop coping strategies.To excel in this role, you must have a master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field, as well as a valid license to practice therapy in the state of Massachusetts.   1. Conduct group therapy sessions for patients with mental health challenges.
  2. Collaborate with other therapists and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  3. Create a safe and supportive environment for patients to explore their emotions and develop coping strategies.
  4. Assess and evaluate patients' progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
  5. Educate patients on mental health disorders and their treatments.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient sessions and progress.
  7. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in therapy practice.
  8. Keep up-to-date with current research and developments in the field of mental health.
  9. Provide crisis intervention as needed.
  10. Communicate with patients' families and other healthcare providers to coordinate care.
  11. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
  12. Attend trainings and conferences to further develop skills and knowledge in therapy practices.
  13. Serve as a resource and support for patients and their families.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and respect for patients' privacy.
  15. Act as an advocate for patients and their mental health needs.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Or A Related Field
