
Violence Recovery Program Manager

- Develop and implement strategic plans for the Violence Recovery Program to effectively support individuals impacted by violence.
- Oversee all aspects of program management, including budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Lead a team of staff and volunteers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and resources to survivors and their loved ones.
- Foster a trauma-informed culture within the program and collaborate with other departments within the hospital to ensure a comprehensive approach to healing.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations and agencies to expand the reach and impact of the program.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on trauma-informed care and provide training and support to staff and community partners.
- Monitor program outcomes and make data-driven decisions to continuously improve and enhance services.
- Develop and maintain program policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Act as a spokesperson for the program, representing it in internal and external meetings and events.
- Provide support and resources to survivors and their loved ones, including crisis intervention, counseling, and referrals to other services as needed.
- Cultivate a supportive and inclusive work environment for staff and volunteers, promoting professional growth and development.
- Attend relevant conferences and trainings to stay updated on best practices and advancements in the field of violence recovery.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to secure funding and grants to sustain and expand the program.
- Uphold the values and mission of Massachusetts General Hospital in all interactions and work towards promoting healing and resilience in the community.
Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Psychology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Managing Programs Related To Violence Recovery Or Trauma-Informed Care.
Strong Understanding Of Trauma-Informed Principles And Evidence-Based Practices For Supporting Survivors Of Violence.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Diverse Team And Build Relationships With Community Partners.
Knowledge Of Local And National Resources For Survivors Of Violence, As Well As Experience In Grant Writing And Program Development.
