  1. Conduct urodynamic tests and procedures on patients to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of urological disorders.
  2. Collect and record accurate patient data and maintain detailed and organized medical records.
  3. Operate and maintain urodynamic equipment and ensure they are in proper working condition.
  4. Provide patient education and instructions for urodynamic procedures and assist in answering any questions or concerns.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care and treatment plans.
  6. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment in the urodynamic testing room.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care.
  8. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on the latest urodynamic techniques and procedures.
  9. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling patient information.
  10. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and obtaining necessary authorizations.
  11. Act as a patient advocate and provide emotional support to patients during urodynamic procedures.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with patients and colleagues.
  13. Follow hospital policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  14. Continuously monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the appropriate personnel.
  15. Attend departmental meetings and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Nursing, Physiology, Or Biomedical Engineering.

  • Certification In Urodynamic Testing From A Recognized Organization Such As The International Continence Society Or The Society Of Urologic Nurses And Associates.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Performing Urodynamic Testing In A Clinical Setting.

  • Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Urodynamic Equipment, Including Pressure Transducers, Catheters, And Electromyography Sensors.
