- Provide administrative support to the unit by managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and maintaining accurate records.
- Maintain a welcoming and positive atmosphere for patients, families, and visitors by greeting them and assisting with any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient needs are met and proper care is provided.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
- Prepare and maintain patient charts, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of all information.
- Coordinate patient admissions and discharges, working closely with the nursing team.
- Respond to phone calls and emails, addressing inquiries and forwarding messages to appropriate personnel.
- Organize and distribute incoming mail and correspondence.
- Assist with data entry and record keeping, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all documentation.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized unit, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
- Collaborate with other unit coordinators to ensure efficient and effective operation of the unit.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance patient experiences.
Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Or Management Role, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance, Including Joint Commission Standards.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Various Departments And Team Members.
Proficiency In Computer Systems And Software Used In Healthcare Settings, Such As Electronic Medical Records And Scheduling Programs.
