  1. Safely transport patients, staff, and equipment throughout the hospital, following all designated routes and protocols.
  2. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment and vehicles are in good working condition.
  3. Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff, assisting them with any needs or concerns during transportation.
  4. Monitor and report any issues or concerns with equipment or vehicles to the appropriate department.
  5. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient transportation of patients and equipment to designated areas.
  7. Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including patient pick-up and drop-off times, mileage, and any incidents or delays.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff, providing clear instructions and directions during transportation.
  9. Attend trainings and meetings as required to stay updated on hospital policies and procedures, as well as any changes in transportation protocols.
  10. Uphold patient confidentiality at all times and maintain a professional and respectful attitude towards all individuals.
  11. Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager, promoting a team-oriented and collaborative work environment.
  12. Continuously strive for improvement and efficiency in transportation processes, suggesting and implementing new ideas as needed.
  13. Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and following infection control measures, to ensure the well-being of patients, staff, and oneself.
