  1. Lead the implementation of new and innovative technologies to improve patient care at Massachusetts General Hospital.
  2. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and current technology trends.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute technology strategies that align with the hospital's overall goals and objectives.

  11. Participate in the development and management of the technology budget.
  12. Act as a liaison between technology and other departments, promoting collaboration and effective communication.
  13. Mentor and coach team members to promote their professional growth and development.
  14. Continuously assess and improve the hospital's technology infrastructure and systems to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Represent the hospital at industry conferences and events to stay informed of the latest technology developments and promote the hospital's technology initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within An Information Technology Department.

  • Strong Knowledge And Experience With Hospital Information Systems, Such As Epic, Cerner, Or Meditech.

  • Proven Ability To Develop And Implement Strategic Plans For Technology Initiatives, Including Budget Management And Resource Allocation.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
