
Staff Nurse - Pediatric Primary Care

- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including medical histories, treatments, and progress.
- Educate patients and their families on preventive care, treatment options, and health maintenance.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and report any changes or concerns to physicians.
- Stay up-to-date on current pediatric care practices and participate in educational opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following infection control and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families during difficult and stressful situations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new processes and protocols.
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of patient care and interactions with colleagues.
- Uphold the values and mission of the hospital by promoting a positive and professional image.
Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Massachusetts.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Equivalent From An Accredited Institution.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Primary Care Nursing.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Current Pediatric Healthcare Practices, Procedures, And Technologies.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members.
