- Coordinate all aspects of the Haiti Humanitarian Initiative (HHI) program, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders in Haiti, utilizing fluent French language skills.
- Oversee and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between team members, both in the US and in Haiti.
- Monitor and track project progress, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Conduct research and analysis on global health issues and trends, providing insights and recommendations for program improvement.
- Develop and maintain program documentation, including reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Organize and coordinate logistics for program-related events, such as conferences and training workshops.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Seek out and establish new partnerships and funding opportunities to support the growth and sustainability of the HHI program.
- Mentor and support junior program coordinators, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Represent Massachusetts General Hospital and the HHI program at conferences, meetings, and other events.
- Continuously evaluate and update program strategies and processes to ensure effectiveness and impact.
- Serve as a liaison between the HHI team and other departments within the hospital.
