1. Provide expert nursing care to pediatric patients in an inpatient setting.
2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
3. Assess and monitor patient's condition and response to treatment, and make necessary adjustments to the care plan.
4. Educate patients and their families on health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
5. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital policies.
6. Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
7. Advocate for the needs and rights of pediatric patients and their families.
8. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
9. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills.
10. Communicate effectively and collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, and families.
11. Demonstrate critical thinking skills and make prompt and appropriate decisions in emergency situations.
12. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
13. Stay up-to-date with advancements and best practices in pediatric nursing.
