  1. Oversee and manage the revenue cycle operations for Massachusetts General Hospital, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize financial risk for the organization.
  3. Monitor and analyze revenue trends and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with various departments, including billing, coding, and finance, to ensure proper documentation and coding for accurate billing.
  5. Review and audit patient accounts to ensure proper billing and reimbursement.
  6. Serve as a liaison between the hospital and insurance companies to resolve any billing or reimbursement issues.

  12. Stay informed about industry trends and changes in regulations and adjust revenue cycle strategies accordingly.
  13. Handle any escalated issues or inquiries related to revenue cycle management.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive patient information.
  15. Represent Massachusetts General Hospital with professionalism and integrity in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Revenue Cycle Management, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Billing And Coding, Including Medicare, Medicaid, And Commercial Insurance.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Various Departments And External Stakeholders.

  • Proficiency In Using Revenue Cycle Management Software And Systems, Such As Epic Or Cerner.
