  1. Oversee and coordinate various research programs and projects within Massachusetts General Hospital.
  2. Work closely with a team of researchers and physicians to ensure efficient and effective execution of research initiatives.
  3. Develop and maintain project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  4. Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues.
  5. Identify and address any potential roadblocks or challenges that may arise during the course of a project.
  6. Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all projects are given proper attention and resources.
  7. Ensure compliance with all institutional and regulatory policies and procedures related to research.

  9. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
  10. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and developments in the field of healthcare and research, incorporating new ideas and methodologies into projects.
  11. Represent Massachusetts General Hospital and its research initiatives at conferences, meetings, and other professional events.
  12. Collaborate with other departments and teams within the hospital to foster interdisciplinary research and collaboration.
  13. Conduct regular evaluations and assessments of project progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
  14. Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of sensitive research information.
  15. Continuously monitor and evaluate the impact and outcomes of research programs and projects, making recommendations for improvement as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Relevant Education And Experience: A Degree In A Relevant Field (Such As Health Sciences, Public Health, Or Project Management) And At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Managing Research Programs And Projects In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Project Management Skills: Demonstrated Ability To Plan, Organize, And Execute Complex Research Projects, Including Setting Timelines, Managing Budgets, And Coordinating Team Members.

  • Knowledge Of Research Regulations And Compliance: Familiarity With Federal, State, And Institutional Regulations And Guidelines Related To Research, Such As Irb, Hipaa, And Human Subjects Protection.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Ability To Effectively Communicate With A Diverse Group Of Stakeholders, Including Researchers, Clinicians, Administrators, And External Partners.

  • Leadership And Strategic Thinking: Proven Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team, Identify And Address Potential Challenges, And Develop Innovative Solutions To Achieve Research Goals And Objectives.
