- Monitor and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to healthcare and hospital operations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify any potential compliance issues and develop corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with various departments and teams to implement and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and communicate any updates or changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and conduct training programs for staff to promote awareness and understanding of compliance standards.
- Investigate and address any compliance concerns or violations, including conducting internal investigations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all compliance activities and reports.
- Coordinate and assist with external audits and inspections.
- Serve as a resource for staff and management regarding compliance-related questions and concerns.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with regulatory agencies and external partners.
- Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance compliance processes.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure the hospital's compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the legal team to ensure regulatory compliance in contracts and agreements.
- Communicate regularly with upper management regarding compliance activities and potential risks.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Or Law.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Regulatory Compliance, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Healthcare, Including Hipaa, Medicare, And Medicaid.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Regulations And Apply Them To Practical Situations.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Various Departments And Stakeholders.
