  1. Monitor and analyze changes in healthcare regulations at the federal, state, and local levels to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and policies.
  2. Develop and implement compliance programs and policies in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  3. Provide guidance and support to staff and departments to ensure they are aware of and adhere to compliance standards.
  4. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop corrective action plans.
  5. Collaborate with various departments and individuals to address compliance concerns and provide guidance on how to maintain compliance.
  6. Respond to and investigate any reports of non-compliance, including conducting interviews and gathering evidence.
  7. Provide training and education to staff on compliance issues, policies, and procedures to ensure a thorough understanding of requirements.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HIPAA, Medicare, and other relevant regulations to ensure compliance in all areas of the hospital.
  9. Serve as a resource for staff and management on compliance-related matters, providing guidance and support as needed.
  10. Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all information.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with external regulatory agencies, representing the hospital in compliance matters.
  12. Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the hospital's compliance program.
  13. Conduct investigations and audits as needed to monitor compliance with policies and procedures.
  14. Collaborate with the legal team to ensure compliance with all legal requirements and assist with any legal proceedings related to compliance matters.
  15. Uphold the hospital's mission of providing high-quality and ethical healthcare services to the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Or Legal Studies.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Regulatory Compliance, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Healthcare, Including Hipaa, Medicare/Medicaid, And Joint Commission Standards.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Regulatory Requirements And Develop Compliance Strategies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Present Compliance Findings To Upper Management.
