Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) include:

• Administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing patient education in a timely and professional manner.

• Assisting with the preparation and implementation of treatment plans.

• Evaluating patient conditions and communicating findings to the physician and other members of the healthcare team.

• Assisting with the admission, discharge, and transfer of patients.

• Assisting with the coordination of patient care services.

• Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records.

• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to plan and coordinate patient care.

• Complying with all applicable hospital policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
