  1. Provide exceptional nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.

  3. Monitor and assess patient's medical condition and response to treatment, and make necessary adjustments to care plan.
  4. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.
  5. Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment plan, and self-management techniques.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  7. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  8. Communicate effectively with physicians, team members, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based nursing practices.
  10. Serve as a patient advocate and promote patient rights and dignity.
  11. Stay current with advancements in the neurosciences field and participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.
  12. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and sensitivity towards patients and their families.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
  14. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Program.

  • Current And Valid Rn Licensure In The State Of Massachusetts.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Neurosciences Nursing.

  • Advanced Certification In Neuroscience Nursing (Cnrn) Preferred.

  • Strong Critical Thinking, Communication, And Assessment Skills.
