- Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients with kidney disease in the Hemodialysis unit.
- Monitor and assess patients' health status and respond to any changes or concerns.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures and treatments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities.
- Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, addressing any concerns or needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive healthcare environment.
- Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.
Bls And Acls Certifications.
Valid Rn License In The State Of Massachusetts.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Hemodialysis Nursing.
Knowledge Of Dialysis Machines, Equipment, And Procedures.
Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients With Kidney Disease.
