- Greet and welcome patients and visitors to Massachusetts General Hospital in a friendly and professional manner.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all incoming calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment for all.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for patients, making sure to accurately record all necessary information.
- Collect and process patient information, including insurance details and other necessary paperwork.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient patient flow throughout the hospital.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient and visitor needs and concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive patient information.
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies for the reception area.
