Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Psychologist with specialized knowledge in Integrated Substance Use Disorder Training to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital. This position requires a compassionate individual who is committed to helping others receive the best possible care. The successful candidate must have a Doctorate degree in Psychology, as well as knowledge of evidence-based practices in treating Substance Use Disorder and experience in providing clinical supervision or training to clinicians in this field. The ideal individual will have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide evidence-based treatment to clients with Substance Use Disorder.
  2. Provide clinical supervision and training to clinicians in the field of Substance Use Disorder.
  3. Utilize strong interpersonal and organizational skills to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  4. Possess a passion for helping others and genuine believe in evidence-based practices to improve outcomes.
  5. Maintain professional ethics and standards of practice.
  6. Assess clients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  7. Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  8. Provide crisis intervention and support to clients and their families.
  9. Utilize best practices and standards of care in treatment.
  10. Record clinical notes and prepare reports as needed.
