Job Description

Massachusetts General Hospital is looking for a highly qualified Psychologist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for helping others, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong knowledge of psychotherapy and psychological assessments. The Psychologist must have a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Psychology, as well as a valid license to practice in the State of Massachusetts. This individual should have at least five years of experience in the field of psychology and working in a hospital setting.At Massachusetts General Hospital, we strive to provide the highest quality of care to our patients and their families. Our Psychologist will be an integral part of our team, providing a safe and nurturing environment for our patients to heal in. We seek a compassionate and knowledgeable individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide psychotherapy and psychological assessments to patients of Massachusetts General Hospital.
  2. Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to meet the individual needs of each patient.
  3. Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
  4. Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  5. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  6. Participate in hospital initiatives and committees as required.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.
  8. Remain up to date on developments in the field of psychology.
  9. Uphold professional standards of conduct and ethical guidelines.
  10. Adhere to all safety and security protocols.
