Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our Inpatient Oncology team at Massachusetts General Hospital. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a passion for providing exceptional patient care. You should have a strong commitment to learning and maintaining up-to-date knowledge in the field of Oncology and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate must also demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills while working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to providing excellent patient care and has a commitment to our mission of delivering the highest quality of care to our patients.The ideal candidate for this role will have a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies, certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). A minimum of two years of experience in a hospital setting is also required. Experience with inpatient Oncology is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional patient care in an inpatient Oncology setting.
  2. Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in the field of Oncology.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients and provide them with appropriate education and support.
  4. Manage time and resources efficiently while working in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high quality care to all patients.
  6. Possess a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies and be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  7. Have a minimum of two years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably with inpatient Oncology experience.
