- Provide high-quality patient care: The primary responsibility of this role is to provide exceptional patient care to individuals with complex foot and ankle conditions. This includes conducting thorough evaluations, developing treatment plans, performing procedures, and monitoring patient progress.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals: The Physician Assistant will work closely with orthopaedic surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure the best possible outcomes. This requires effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Perform procedures and assist in surgeries: The PA will assist the surgeons in the operating room, performing procedures such as casting, splinting, and wound care. They will also be responsible for pre and post-operative care for patients.
- Conduct patient evaluations and assessments: This role involves conducting comprehensive patient evaluations, including taking medical histories, performing physical exams, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests to develop accurate treatment plans.

Current Certification By The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa).
A Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Physician Assistant In Orthopaedic Surgery, With A Focus On Foot And Ankle Surgery.
Proficiency In Performing Diagnostic And Therapeutic Procedures Related To Orthopaedic Foot And Ankle Surgery, Such As Casting, Splinting, And Joint Injections.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients.
