Certification: Must Be A Certified Phlebotomist With A Valid License From A Recognized Institution.
Experience: Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Phlebotomist In A Hospital Setting, Preferably At A Large Hospital Such As Massachusetts General Hospital.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Be Able To Accurately Identify And Label Blood Samples.
Attention To Detail: Must Have Excellent Attention To Detail To Ensure Accurate And Safe Collection, Handling, And Labeling Of Blood Samples.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent Customer Service Skills Are Necessary To Interact With Patients In A Professional And Compassionate Manner, Especially During Potentially Uncomfortable Procedures.
