  1. Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring all tasks and responsibilities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Supervise and lead a team of pharmacy technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work and exceptional patient care.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication inventory, orders, and deliveries, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and protocols.
  4. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medications to patients.
  5. Monitor and evaluate staff performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback and coaching to facilitate professional growth.
  6. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity in the pharmacy department, while maintaining high standards of patient care.
  7. Stay updated on advancements in pharmacy technology, regulations, and industry standards, and ensure their implementation in the pharmacy department.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions related to medications and educating them on proper usage and potential side effects.
  9. Handle and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise within the pharmacy department, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  10. Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other initiatives to contribute to the overall growth and success of the pharmacy department and the hospital as a whole.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience As A Certified Pharmacy Technician In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Prior Supervisory Or Management Experience, Preferably In A Pharmacy Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Medication Dispensing, Inventory Management, And Regulatory Compliance.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team Of Technicians.

  • Current Certification As A Pharmacy Technician Through The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb) And Licensure With The Massachusetts Board Of Pharmacy.
