  1. Prepare and dispense radiology medications accurately and efficiently, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  2. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medications to patients.
  3. Maintain inventory of radiology medications and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times.
  4. Monitor and review patient records to ensure appropriate and safe use of radiology medications.
  5. Provide patient education on the proper use and potential side effects of radiology medications.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and safety.
  8. Stay current with changes in radiology medications and technology, attending training and education sessions as required.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers, addressing any questions or concerns related to radiology medications.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to patient confidentiality and safety.
  11. Collaborate with insurance companies and other third-party payers to ensure timely and accurate billing for radiology medications.
  12. Contribute to a positive and professional work environment by actively engaging in team meetings and other collaborative activities.
  13. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all pharmacy-related activities.
  14. Comply with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or other supervising healthcare professionals.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent

  • Completion Of An Accredited Pharmacy Technician Or Radiology Program

  • Certification From The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb) Or American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt)

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Pharmacy Or Radiology Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, And Radiology Procedures And Equipment
