  1. Manage pharmacy inventory: The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the inventory management of the pharmacy department at Massachusetts General Hospital. This includes tracking and monitoring stock levels, ordering and receiving medications and supplies, and maintaining accurate records.
  2. Ensure accuracy and efficiency: The Pharmacy Technician - Inventory / Receiving will play a crucial role in ensuring that all inventory processes are accurate and efficient. This includes checking for expiration dates, conducting regular inventory audits, and identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  3. Maintain organization: The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a well-organized and tidy pharmacy inventory area. This includes proper storage of medications and supplies, ensuring all items are labeled correctly, and following proper disposal protocols.
  4. Collaborate with team members: The Pharmacy Technician - Inventory / Receiving will work closely with other team members, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy department. This may include communicating inventory needs, assisting with medication preparation, and providing support during busy periods.
  5. Adhere to regulations: As a healthcare facility, Massachusetts General Hospital must adhere to strict regulations regarding inventory management.
