- Develop and produce radiopharmaceuticals used in PET imaging procedures according to established protocols and procedures.
- Perform routine quality control testing on radiopharmaceuticals to ensure accuracy and purity.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all production, testing, and quality control activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to radiopharmaceutical production or quality control.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop new radiopharmaceuticals and improve existing ones.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in radiopharmaceuticals and contribute to the improvement of current processes.
- Train and mentor junior staff members on radiopharmaceutical production and quality control.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure timely delivery of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines, in all aspects of the job.
A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Radiopharmaceutical Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Research Facility.
Strong Understanding Of Radiochemistry Principles And Techniques, Including Synthesis, Purification, And Analysis Of Radiopharmaceuticals.
Knowledge Of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (Cgmp) And Regulatory Requirements For Radiopharmaceutical Production And Quality Control.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Other Scientists And Healthcare Professionals In A Fast-Paced Environment.
