- Conduct research and development of new radiopharmaceutical compounds for use in PET imaging studies.
- Design and execute experiments to synthesize and analyze radiolabeled compounds.
- Operate and maintain specialized instrumentation and equipment used in the creation and analysis of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Evaluate the purity and stability of radiolabeled compounds through various analytical techniques.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations in the handling and disposal of radioactive materials.
- Collaborate with other members of the research team to design and implement new protocols and procedures.
- Prepare and present research findings to colleagues and at conferences.
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment and processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate records of all experiments, data, and results.
- Stay up to date with advancements in the field of nuclear medicine and implement new techniques and technologies as appropriate.
- Train and supervise junior laboratory staff and provide support and guidance as needed.
- Participate in the writing and submission of grant proposals to secure funding for research projects.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the research team.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to ethics and research integrity.

A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Radiopharmaceutical Chemistry, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Pharmaceutical Regulations And Guidelines, Particularly Related To Pet Radiopharmaceuticals.
Experience With Laboratory Techniques And Instrumentation Commonly Used In Pet Radiopharmaceutical Production, Such As Hplc And Gc-Ms.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Independently And Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment.
