- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure a holistic approach.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in pediatric psychiatry to continually improve patient care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and documentation.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Act as a mentor and resource for other healthcare professionals within the hospital.
- Participate in hospital committees and initiatives to improve the quality of care and patient outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to trainees and residents in pediatric psychiatry.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Continuously evaluate and improve upon personal clinical skills and knowledge through ongoing education and training.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Represent the hospital and its values in a positive manner at all times.
Medical Degree (Md Or Do) From An Accredited Medical School
Board Certification In Child And Adolescent Psychiatry
Valid State Medical License And Dea Registration
Completion Of A Residency Program In Psychiatry And Fellowship In Child And Adolescent Psychiatry
Experience In Diagnosing And Treating Mental Health Disorders In Children And Adolescents, Including Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Therapies And Medications.
