We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Associate (CNA) to join our team and help us deliver the highest quality of care to our patients in their time of need. As a Patient Care Associate in our Emergency Department, you will play a crucial role in the patient experience by providing essential support to our nursing staff and ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of our patients. If you have a passion for patient care, possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, and are a certified nursing assistant, we would love for you to join our team and make a difference in the lives of our patients.

  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department.
  2. Assist nursing staff in providing essential medical support and treatment to patients.
  3. Ensure the comfort and wellbeing of patients by attending to their basic needs and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
  5. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
  6. Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
  7. Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
  8. Perform basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and collecting specimens, under the direction of nursing staff.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
  11. Demonstrate a professional and caring demeanor towards patients and their families.
  12. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  13. Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to provide timely and efficient care.
  14. Uphold the hospital's mission and values while representing the Emergency Department.
  15. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: Candidates Must Possess A Valid Cna Certification From An Accredited Program.

  • Bls Certification: Candidates Must Have A Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification From The American Heart Association.

  • Previous Emergency Department Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In An Emergency Department Setting.

  • Strong Communication Skills: This Position Requires Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members In High-Stress Situations.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Emergency Department Can Be A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment, So Candidates Must Be Able To Work Efficiently And Effectively Under Pressure.
