Patient Care Assistant / 36 HR / Rotating / 11A

1. Provide compassionate care to patients by monitoring their physical and emotional well-being, administering medication, and assisting with daily activities as needed.
2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, physicians, and therapists to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
3. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and communicate any changes in patient status to the appropriate team members.
4. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by following infection control protocols and maintaining equipment and supplies.
5. Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and their families by providing emotional support, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
6. Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance knowledge and skills in patient care.
7. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting cultural and religious beliefs.
8. Display a strong work ethic by being punctual, dependable, and willing to assist with tasks outside of regular job duties.
9. Maintain open and effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other hospital staff.
10. Continuously strive to improve the quality of care and patient experience by seeking feedback and implementing suggestions for improvement.
