  1. Perform regular maintenance and repairs on all operating room equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
  2. Troubleshoot any technical issues with medical equipment and provide timely and effective solutions.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all equipment is properly set up and functioning for surgical procedures.
  4. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inventory.
  5. Monitor and track equipment usage and assist in budget planning for future equipment needs.
  6. Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures to minimize equipment downtime and optimize performance.
  7. Train and educate staff on proper usage and care of equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.
  8. Stay updated on new equipment and technology advancements in order to make recommendations for equipment upgrades and replacements.
  9. Follow all safety protocols and regulations in handling and maintaining medical equipment.
  10. Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff, addressing any equipment concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Biomed Technician Or In A Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Equipment And Terminology, Including Or-Specific Equipment Such As Anesthesia Machines, Surgical Lights, And Surgical Tables.

  • Familiarity With Local And National Safety Codes And Regulations Related To Medical Equipment.

  • Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Quickly Identify And Resolve Equipment Malfunctions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Or Staff And Other Healthcare Professionals.
